Starry Nite Formats is an independent television format creation company founded by Vincent Woodward.
Creativity has always been at the heart of everything Vincent has done. Although his professional background is in the construction industry, his passion has always been developing original entertainment concepts that captivate audiences.
That passion became a reality when he sat down with nothing more than a pen and paper and began writing what would become his first television format, The Singing Booth. Within just a few hours, the foundations of the show had been created, marking the beginning of Starry Nite Formats.
Today, Starry Nite Formats is co-producing The Singing Booth alongside Free@Last TV, one of the UK's leading independent production companies, with more than 450 hours of television produced for major broadcasters including Sky, ITV and FOX.
"The Singing Booth is a uniquely original format and a wonderful, empowering television experience. I have no doubt the show will become a household name in years to come and a mainstay of television schedules across the globe. We look forward to working with Vincent on this and many more ideas to come."

The next great television format could start with a single idea. At Starry Nite Format, that's exactly where every project begins.

Elvis and Friends: Aloha from Hawaii is a landmark live music event that recreates Elvis Presley’s iconic 1973 Aloha from Hawaii satellite concert — one of the most watched entertainment broadcasts in history, seen by 1.5 billion people across 40 countries.
Blending restored original Elvis footage with live contemporary performances, the special places today’s biggest artists on stage alongside Elvis, performing the exact setlist from the original concert in the same Hawaiian setting. Through cutting-edge staging, archive integration, and cinematic storytelling, Elvis appears to perform “with” the artists in real time, creating an emotional, once-in-a-generation television experience.

Instrumental is a brand-new prime-time entertainment competition celebrating the world's most gifted musicians.
Unlike traditional talent shows, there are no vocalists.
Every performance is driven entirely by the power of live instrumentation.
From incredible guitarists and world-class pianists to drummers, violinists, saxophonists, DJs, orchestras and performers playing the most unusual instruments imaginable, Instrumental showcases musicianship in its purest form.
Whether it's breathtaking, emotional, technically astonishing or completely outrageous, every act has one thing in common...
They must leave the judges describing their performance as...
"That was... Instrumental!"

A young man walked into a recording booth to record a song for his mother’s birthday.
That day, a legend was born.
It’s happened before.
It could happen again.
The Singing Booth strips away everything except the voice.
It passes no judgment.
It makes no excuses.
It tells no stories.
It asks the audience to judge the only thing that truly matters:
Can you sing?
No one, not the judges, not the audience ever sees the contestant until the winner is revealed.
The Singing Booth is a groundbreaking entertainment format that puts talent before image.
In an age where appearance, social media and personal stories often influence success, The Singing Booth strips everything back to what really matters – the vocals.
Contestants perform from inside a purpose-built recording booth, completely hidden from both the judges and the audience. Every decision is made purely on vocal ability, creating a competition where talent alone determines who succeeds.
The result is a format unlike any other; one built around suspense, surprise and unforgettable reveals.
What makes The Singing Booth truly unique is that contestants are never seen until they win. Throughout the competition, the singers remain completely anonymous, allowing audiences to build a connection based solely on their performances. The mystery grows with every round, making each reveal more powerful than the last.
